XCEL completes installation and commissioning of new Vibration and ‘Burn In’ Chamber.

DATE RELEASED:             DATE 5th June 2014

XCEL Power Systems Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been completed the installation and commissioning of new vibration and ‘burn in’ chamber.

These areas now have ‘state of the art’ facilities enabling more ‘in house testing’ to be completed prior to shipment to our customer – thus minimising both risk and cost to our customers.  In addition to random and sinusoidal vibration the facility is now capable of performing sine on random, random on random, classical shock and SRS shock tests.

Commenting on the new facility, Richard Weller, Managing Director of XCEL Power Systems stated ‘This considerable investment comprehensively enhances our test capability and clearly shows that we are looking to further align our capabilities both to our customers’ expectations and to the technology available. This investment will be critical to our continued expansion plans in 2015 onwards.
