XCEL books $700,000 follow on order for Hawk PSUs XCEL Power Systems Ltd has been awarded a follow-on order for airborne power supplies worth more than $ 700,000. The contract is for the continuing production of low voltage power supplies for Multi-Function Displays installed in the cockpit of the latest BAE Systems’ Hawk Trainer aircraft, and brings the total number of units ordered to over 550. Commenting on the new order, Richard Weller, General Manager of XCEL Power Systems Ltd, stated “The Hawk MFD program continues to be a significant contributor to revenues and we are very pleased that the new order will be shipping in the relatively short term during 2008”.
